Description
WISDOM Home Schooling helps parents fulfill all the requirements of the Alberta Home Education regulation, as the home education administration of Trinity Christian School. WISDOM was established for the sole purpose of supporting traditional home schooling, where parents have control over what is taught to their children, how it is taught, and when it is taught. Because the members of our board of directors, our facilitating team, our support staff and our Parent Advisory Council are home schooling parents and/or graduates, all board decisions reflect this insight and commitment. WISDOM accepts home schooling families from anywhere in the province of Alberta, Canada.

We homeschooled with WISDOM for 8 years and loved it! We enjoyed the freedom we had to teach our children what we felt was important, as well the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in the office! :) We had the privilege of having Bill Gurney as our facilitator for 7 of those 8 years, and were super blessed by his knowledge, personality, insight, humor, and so much more! We appreciated the fact that our children's spiritual condition was even more important to Bill as how well they were doing in their studies. We were sad when his earthly journey ended in 2012, but we know that even though we "lost" him for the time being...Jesus gained an angel, and Bill's memory will always bring forth fond memories.
During our last year with WISDOM, we had Rachelle Godin as our facilitator and found her to be super sweet with plenty of experience since she still homeschools her own children...a few of whom we got to meet :).
Nevertheless, due to our homeschool journey taking a bit of a turn (towards online school), we decided to go with another board; however, we will always remember WISDOM with fond memories, and we have no problem suggesting them to other families starting out in their own homeschool journey! :) Thank you so much, WISDOM! <3
